Micah studied Bass Performance for the past four years at the Lionel Hampton School of Music (University of Idaho) with cellist Miranda Wilson (Assistant Professor of Cello, Bass and Theory). Her great expectations and high standards are inspiring. She is an authority on string pedagogy.

Millheim was able to work with composer, Daniel Bukvich (Professor of Percussion and Theory and Director of Jazz Choir) through many performances of Jazz Choirs I and II, and Dancers Drummers Dreamers, as well as classes and one-on-one mentoring.
